Dreams and Reality !!

I have always been a bit of a dreamer, with a facility to imagine in the abstract. The best reason for having dreams is that in dreams no reasons are necessary. A dream is a wish your heart makes.

All people dream, but not equally. Those who dream by night in the dusty recesses of their mind wake in the day to find that it was vanity. But the dreamers of the day are dangerous people, for they may act their dream with open eyes to make it possible. There is a fine line between dreams and reality; it's up to you to draw it. The permanent temptation of life is to confuse dreams with reality. The permanent defeat of life comes when dreams are surrendered to reality.

"Reality is that which, when you stop believing in it, doesn't go away.” It is the state of things as they actually exist, rather than as they may appear or may be thought to be. Reality is often contrasted with what is imaginary, in the mind, dreams, what is false, or what is fictional. The truth refers to what is real, while falsity refers to what is not. It is always contrasted with what is not so included, as being not real, so the term is somewhat ambiguous in its contradictory usages.
"Reality leaves a lot to the imagination." This is an intensely thought provoking quotation, which inspires us to follow our dreams. Dreams make perfect sense when you’re having them. Yet, they leave you befuddled the next morning, wondering “where did that come from?”
“The best thing about dreams is that fleeting moment, when you are between asleep and awake, when you don’t know the difference between reality and fantasy, when for just that one moment you feel with your entire soul that the dream is reality, and it really happened.”
Dreaming is one of the most mysterious and interesting experiences in our lives. The four major components of the Dreams to Reality Process are CONCEIVE, BELEIVE, RECEIVE, and ACHIEVE. We cannot really receive unless we put our stamp of acceptance on it.

Often our dreams are based around expectations and how things will be. When those expectations aren't fulfilled that dream is shattered. All we can do in these circumstances is pick up the pieces and make ourselves a new dream. Things do happen that are out of control. Broken dreams are one of those things that nobody can predict. Life doesn't always happen the way we plan, but we shouldn't give up our dreams. One dream may not come true but many others will. When we have a dream shattered, we shouldn't give up, we need to create a new dream.

Has one of your cherished dreams been shattered recently? You probably felt disappointed, perhaps devastated. Try looking at it not as the end, but as a chance for a new beginning. Don't let a shattered dream stop you from moving forward in life. Just take the opportunity of exploring a new direction.

As we suffer losses, we wrestle with our feelings toward God. We pray, but find fear and despair instead of peace. We wonder what God can be trusted for, if it’s not to keep our dreams from shattering. To find an answer, we must adjust our thinking entirely. We live as if we are here on this earth to have pleasant circumstances and good feelings. To have all pleasure and no pain. To have what is reserved for heaven now, and we want God to give it to us. When He doesn’t come through, we feel betrayed. But in reality, our shattered dreams point us towards our true hope. Our suffering will have a purpose; it will stir our desire to know God above all else, which will ultimately bring us our greatest joy. “Shattered dreams open the door to better dreams, dreams that we do not properly value until the dreams that we improperly value are destroyed.”

Broken dreams lead to spiritual growth. I once heard it being said that "Reality is overrated." I am not exactly sure what that means, but it probably refers to the fact that each one of us creates our own reality.

In thinking of the past, we stir up negative explanations as to why our dreams can’t come true because they haven’t come true in the past. It is a specific sort of blame game and subtracts from our power to take responsibility for what our life has become. Develop a habit of catching yourself in these thoughts and instantly correct them to shift your power by taking action in the present moment.

“But how can I learn from my mistakes if I don’t look back?” Although this question seems to make sense, there is weakness in this thinking. It makes the assumption that mistakes have been made. However, I believe that there is no such thing as failure, and that all seeming failure is an opportunity for adjustment. An adjustment is an improvement, rather than a correction of a mistake. When we think in terms of mistakes, this thinking comes from lack, or fear. In thinking from power, faith, and responsibility, we simply make improvements. When we shift our thinking from fear of repeating mistakes to acceptance of a learning opportunity, the negative past loses its power over us.

Having faith in the future is a way to establish your dreams in the thinking stuff. To see good dreams manifested, invest positive faith in the future and guide your thoughts away from fear of the future and fear of the past. If we let our past affect us, this would hinder us from achieving our goals. Instead, you should focus on your present or future. Create an image of what success means to you; this would provide with motivation that you need to turn your obstacles into challenges.
The past and future are illusory. They are not tangible, and only reside in the mind. This is where the self-control of thoughts will influence your dreams—in the present moment. Once we grasp that the present moment is where our TRUE power is, we overcome procrastination and other fears, we can begin to act to attract our dreams towards us with certainty.
Finally, Dreams are the seedlings of reality. Reality, which means you live until you die. The real truth is nobody wants reality!!
